Triage Care after hours

Students who are in need of non emergency care after the Student Health Service is closed are encouraged to call the after hours nurse concerning their need.  You can reach this service by calling the main Student Health Service Number (252) 328-6841 and waiting for the service to pick up at the end of the message.  This is a free service provided to ECU students.  The after hours nurse can make general assessments of a patient's medical needs and make appropriate recommendations regarding self-care or referral to Student Health Service on the next working day or give advice to be seen immediately at a local urgent care facility or the Emergency Room at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
