Business Emerging Leaders Program

The Business Emerging Leaders Program is designed to provide students who are studying in the College of Business with leadership leadership practices and global awareness through deliberately designed learning experiences.  To achieve these outcomes, business students move through the program in three dimensions utilizing a leadership workbook, curriculum course seminars lead by peer mentors, service leadership and exposure to multiple and diverse perspectives, contributing to the development of cultural competencies. These experiences will be able to be documented in the Leadership & Professional Portfolio to showcase student learning, that is required for all College of Business graduates.

This program provides opportunities for students to become involved, meet established leaders, recognize their leadership potential, and have fun while enhancing their leadership abilities.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR FALL 2009! 

The leadership program focuses on developing exemplary business student leaders at East Carolina University.  Business Emerging Leaders are young adults who enhance the university community through their academics, leadership.  This comprehensive program (one semester) engages students in activities, dialogue, service project and readings with current student leaders, faculty, administration, and staff.

Applications are due Monday, September 14 to Mendenhall Student Center, 109.
