Now Hiring for Summer Training

ECU Transit is seeking hardworking, dedicated students to begin training this summer in preparation for the fall semester. If interested, please take a moment to check out the minimum requirements for employment and download an application.

Spring Service Ends, No Service Until Summer Sessions Begin
April 30, 2012
All routes will continue to operate on their normal schedules until service for the Spring 2012 semester ends on Thursday, May 3. On this date, all daytime service will operate normally with the exception of route 303 Blue, which will not operate. Evening service will be modified as follows:

  • 850 Pirate Ride will end early with its last round departing Mendenhall / West End at 8:45pm.
  • SafeRide will end service early at 9:00pm.
  • All 800-series Night Drop-Off shuttles and 900-series Pirate Express shuttles to the downtown area will not operate.

No shuttle service is provided for graduation and no routes will operate during the break. Limited service will begin on Monday, May 14 with the following:

  • 710 Minges Park & Ride will operate on a single shuttle approximately every 18 minutes from 7:00am until the last round departs Joyner Library at 5:45pm.
  • SafeRide will operate on its normal schedule from 8:00pm until 12:00am to serve campus and adjacent areas only.

Full summer service will begin on Tuesday, May 15.

Summer 2012 Service
