Fall 2009 Bus Service
Leaner, meaner... and greener.

That's how we describe ECUSTA's service for the new academic year. We've taken a look at how you, our passengers, use the service and better tailored it to fit your needs. To help you get where you need to go, peak class times received priority scheduling with more buses coming more often. Where fewer people ride during off-peak times, you'll see new features come into play like combination routing and reduced frequencies.

What does this mean? Better service, more efficient operations, fewer emissions and less dependency on petroleum products. In the end, we can all breathe a little easier. Cleaner. Smarter. Get onboard!

ROUTES, MAPS & SCHEDULES
The following routes are considered normal service and operate while classes are in session. See individual schedules for more details. To make sure you get a seat, always try to catch the bus as early as possible to avoid overcrowding during peak times. Don't get left behind in the last minute rush!

If you're new to ECU, everything you need to use the system is right here. If you need help, our telecommunicators are available 8:00am-5:00pm until classes start to answer any questions you may have. Ridden with us before? Got a night class? No problem. 801, 802 & 803 Night Drop-Off operate out of Christenbury Gym after most regular service ends for the day Monday-Thursday, from 6:30pm until the last round departs at 9:30pm. See below for more details.

301 Gold
:: Download 301 Map & Schedule
Serves Mendenhall / West End Dining Hall, College Hill and the freshman parking lot on a 40 minute frequency Sunday-Friday. No Saturday service.

302 Red

Connects main campus from Mendenhall / West End Dining Hall to the Health Sciences Building and Brody School of Medicine on a 30 minute frequency Monday-Friday.

303 Blue

Frequently referred to as the "around town" bus, this route connects main campus to several shopping, dining and entertainment venues over the busiest parts of the city on a one hour frequency seven days a week.

304 Campus Shuttle

Circulates around main campus through each of our bus hubs with a stop at First Street Place on a 30 minute frequency Monday-Friday.

401 Purple

Serves the 10th Street corridor between campus and Greenville Boulevard, including Campus Pointe and other apartments on Greenville Boulevard, on a 30 minute frequency Monday-Friday.

402 Brown

Serves apartments between 5th Street and the Tar River in the neighborhoods east of Elm Street on a variable 20-30 minute frequency Monday-Friday. This route reduces frequency during off-peak times.

501 Pirates Cove

Provides express service to Pirates Cove apartments on a variable 10-30 minute frequency Monday-Friday. Combines with 502 University Manor during off-peak times.

502 University Manor

Provides express service to University Manor apartments on a variable 20-30 minute frequency Monday-Friday. Combines with 501 Pirates Cove during off-peak times.

503 Sunchase

Provides express service to Sunchase apartments on a variable 20-30 minute frequency Monday-Friday. Combines with 505 North Campus Crossing during off-peak times.

504 The Landing

Provides express service to The Landing apartments (and the Greenville Centre by request only) on a variable 15-30 minute frequency Monday-Friday. Combines with 508 The Bellamy during off-peak times.

505 North Campus Crossing

Provides express service to North Campus Crossing apartments on a variable 12-30 minute frequency Monday-Friday. Combines with 503 Sunchase during off-peak times.

506 University Suites

507 Copper Beech

Provides express service to Copper Beech townhomes on a variable 10-30 minute frequency Monday-Friday. This route reduces frequency during off-peak times.

508 The Bellamy

Provides express service to The Bellamy apartments on a variable 15-30 minute frequency Monday-Friday.

610 Minges Park & Ride

Serves the commuter parking lots by Minges Coliseum and Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on a variable 5-15 minute frequency Monday-Friday. This route reduces frequency during off-peak times.

620 Curry Court Park & Ride

Serves the commuter parking lot and Carol Belk Building near the intersection of Greenville Boulevard and Charles Boulevard, along with Stratford Arms apartments on a variable 10-20 minute frequency Monday-Friday. This route reduces frequency during off-peak times.

801, 802 & 803 Night Drop-Off
These shuttles provide drop-off only service for the 400-, 500- and 600-series routes above. Night Drop-Off departs Christenbury Gym every 30 minutes Monday-Thursday beginning at 6:30pm until the last round departs at 9:30pm. When boarding the bus, be sure to let the driver know where you want to be dropped off. Check individual schedules above to see which Night Drop-Off shuttle serves your route.

PIRATE EXPRESS LATE NIGHT SERVICE
Pirate Express shuttles provide a safe means of enjoying Greenville's downtown area. Please remember that all ECUSTA vehicles are an extension of campus and the same rules apply.
