Our Mission
SafeRide serves to facilitate a safe and reliable evening commuting environment in the ECU/Greenville area by providing students, staff, faculty and visitors with a fare-free method of transportation to their homes/residences or vehicles. It also serves to facilitate safe and reliable evening movement around the ECU campus.

When the day is done, home is just a phone call away. SafeRide is a point-to-point, demand-response van service operating as a division of ECU Transit. This service works to efficiently supplement the bus system at night to maximize safety after regular daytime service has ended.

Operating Hours & Service Area
To support SafeRide's mission and prevent abuse, service areas are limited; please see this map for details. SafeRide dispatchers are unable to schedule rides to or from locations outside of the service area.

Any deviations from this schedule for holidays or other ECU closures will be posted to the ECU Transit service calendar.
