RECOGNITION FOR OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE

The Recognition for Outstanding Leadership and Service Awards Program recognizes outstanding students, student organizations and organization advisors who have greatly contributed to the leadership of ECU during the 2007-2008 academic year. Students, organizations and advisors are nominated for these awards.

The campus community will come together to honor these outstanding leaders for their achievements in academic endeavors as well as their exceptional leadership to the campus through their involvement in student life, community service, and many other areas. The Recognition for Outstanding Leadership and Service Program is one of the most prestigious awards program on East Carolina University campus.

Our University is very fortunate to be able to acknowledge excellence and leadership.  ECU seeks to encourage those individuals who portray outstanding behavior.  Indeed, rewarding this behavior is one of the most effective ways of fostering excellence, and these awards do just that.
