Welcome to Student Affairs at ECU. It is our responsibility to deliver a wide array of programs and services that support and collaborate with Academic Affairs at ECU. In every way possible, we want to enhance the overall learning experience of our students, both inside and outside of the classroom.
Our focus in Student Affairs is on student success. We want our graduates to leave their university experience with the knowledge and skills they need to enter the workforce and contribute to their communities. Thus, we work to insure that students engage in the experiences they need to develop as well-rounded citizens. There are opportunities for leadership development, community service, interpersonal skill development, and personal growth. Within Student Affairs, there are many hard-working staff who are committed to making sure that our students take advantage of such opportunities.
Our campus reflects a diverse student population, as well as diverse faculty and staff. Our intent is to assist students in developing and enhancing their interaction skills so that, as graduates in the workplace, they are able to collaborate on teams with diverse employees. We value the richness that diversity brings to a university environment, and we work to support students as they engage broadly in university life.
