Calendar of Events

The Calendar of Events (COE) lists one time special activities in the community.  The COE is a great opportunity for all students to working with a variety of agencies and causes.  Students seeking to complete a limited number of hours, such as those in HEALTH 1000 and BIOL 2150, are encouraged to select activities from this calendar.  Time sheets are available at the VSLC and on-line to document service hours. It is the student's responsibility to document hours and submit them to the VSLC.

By using the tools located in the purple box to right of the calendar, searches for a service opportunity can be done by: day/week/month or category. Click on the title of an event and a pop-up box will provide detailed information regarding tasks to be performed, times, locations, and person to contact to serve at that event.

ECU students must register with the VSLC before beginning their service.  This covers them with the Center's liability insurance while doing service.  It's quick and easy to register.

1. Log into OneStop
2. Click on Tools and look for Academic Planning Under Academic Planning
3. Click on the Volunteer and Service-Learning Center link
4. Fill out the form
5. Click submit ONCE and confirmation will appear when the process is complete
