Shawn Moore, Community Partner Coordinator

Shawn is a liaison between campus and community as she recruits, maintains, and assesses existing and future community partnerships. She provides community partners with workshops and resources and coordinates request for volunteer and academic collaborations.

Jessica Gagne Cloutier, Service-Learning Coordinator

Jessica provides leadership in the planning, implementation, management and assessment of service-learning programs. She designs and provides orientation sessions for students, facilitates service projects, plans and implements faculty development workshops, and coordinates evaluation activities.


Michael Loeffleman, Volunteer Coordinator

Michael recruits, coordinates, and provides orientation for individual volunteers as well as volunteer groups regarding Center programs, community agencies, and volunteer opportunities. He assists individual students and student groups with finding service opportunities and coordinates special events including Weeks of Welcome, Volunteer Fridays, Make A Difference Day, MLK Day Challenge, and Service North Carolina.

Kim is responsible for the NC ACTS! programs and volunteer recruitment.

Judy Baker, Institutional and Community Developement Consultant

Judy, the founder of the Volunteer & Service-Learning Center, is responsible for special projects.

Alice Tyson, Office Manager

Alice manages and maintains the Center's database as well as budget, travel requests, and purchasing.

Pirate Playtime Coordinators

Scott and Jasmine recruit, training, and coordinate student volunteers for the Pirate Playtime, a roving afternoon of play at local after school programs on Fridays between 2 and 5 pm.

Peer Counselors greet and counsel students regarding service opportunities tailored to their interests and career and course goals. They also provide logistical support for Center's many projects and programs and assist with data management.
