Register on-line. It's fast and easy to do! To register on-line, go to your OneStop account and follow the instructions below:
- Log into OneStop
- Click on Tools, look for Academic Planning
- Under Academic Planning, click on the Volunteer & Service-Learning Center link
- Fill out the form and click submit ONCE
- A confirmation will appear when the process is complete
Registration forms can also be obtained in the Center or downloaded from our website. Registration gives you access to our comprehensive list of service opportunities and covers you with our liability insurance policy while you are serving. All ECU students should register with the Center BEFORE doing service.
Identify an organization by reviewing the Service Opportunities Guide (copies available at the Center), speaking with a Center staff member about your interests, accessing the one-time calendar of events or Special Service Request page
Go! Contact the agency and schedule your service hours. Record your service hours on a service time sheet. You are responsible for documenting your service hours and completing all areas of the sheet. Remember to have the person supervising you at the agency sign your time sheet.
Return your service time sheet to the Center. It is very important to return your completed time sheets to the Center. This way, the Center staff can track you service hours and provide you verification letters for employment purposes, scholarships, and graduate or professional school.
