Paid Leadership Positions with the Volunteer and Service-Learning Center
Many of VSLC student positions provide a unique leadership experience and allow students to help facilitate service, social justice and educational activities with their peers. VSLC hires student administrative assistants, student program coordinators, and graduate assistants. Most position openings are posted in November and April for the upcoming semesters, and students are selected for the following academic year. The VSLC hires students who are eligible for Federal Work-Study as well as Self-Help (Direct Hire) students. Federal Work Study (FWS) Paid Positions Available with the Volunteer and Service-Learning Center
The VSLC is currently hiring Federal Work Study-eligible students for various positions during the Fall 2014 semester. Students will be working with community partners, staffing marketing tables at campus and community events, answering the phones, updating OrgSync, and assisting with the management of daily operations and projects. Students who apply MUST qualify for the Federal Work Study program.
