Margaret Turner Speaks to High School Students
Margaret Turner | 252.328.9606 | turnerm@ecu.edu

High School Visits

Margaret Turner is our Public Relations Coordinator and Student Recruiter. She is available to travel to speak to high school students about the opportunities available within the College of Engineering and Technology. She speaks primarily in classrooms, but can also speak in larger settings, such as an auditorium. She will discuss the degree options and what careers and salaries can be expected with our degrees. She will also focus on the necessary steps required to be successful in college. Margaret is an Industrial Engineer by degree and is very familiar with the requirements to complete a technology or engineering program, such as those found in our College.

Margaret travels locally to high schools and primarily in the Eastern part of NC, but has also traveled as far west as Durham.  Her travels have taken her to many counties such as Bertie, Cumberland, New Hanover, Onslow, and Wake.

College of Engineering and Technology Laboratory Tour

Margaret also hosts small student groups on campus and tours them through the labs and some classrooms that are used by our departments. She is available to make a presentation to the visiting students as well, as mentioned above.

If you are interested in having Margaret visit your school or to bring your students to visit ECU's campus, please contact her at the above information.
