Check your PirateID and Passphrase
Make sure your Pirate ID and passphrase are working so you can access your different ECU accounts: OneStop, Pirate mail (ECU Email), Blackboard, Banner Self Service, etc. If you are having problems your Pirate ID and passphrase or want to reset your passphrase, please check the Pirate ID maintenance site at https://pirateid.ecu.edu/.
Tuition and Fees
Students currently admitted and registered for classes will receive a Cashiers Billing Statement, fall and spring semesters, approximately thirty days prior to the published date for classes to begin. Summer billing statements will be received approximately three weeks prior to the first day of classes. Fall and spring payment of tuition and fees will be subject to a late payment charge, if not paid by a published deadline, which usually precedes registration day by about two weeks.
If paying online:
1) Access One-Stop at https://onestop.ecu.edu/onestop/
A) You will need your student passphrase and pirate ID to enter OneStop
B) Click on "Tools" tab
C) Select "Tuition Statements and Payments" located in the "Courses" box. This will log users directly into the e-Billing web portal where users can make payments online, view eBills, and view current account activity.
2) To avoid having class schedules canceled, tuition, fees, room and board (if applicable) must be paid no later than the cashier's drop date (contact advisor for date or view applicable online academic calendar). If you have not received a bill, you should contact the Cashiers office at (252) 328-6886.

The office of student financial Aid at East Carolina University is responsible for administering and processing all Federal Title IV aid for students enrolled at ECU. The staff of this office provides guidance to all students and their parents. Their website is www.ecu.edu/financial and it contains information about the ECU financial aid programs, the application process, deadlines and timelines, and links to other resources.
If you are living on campus please be sure to get your Medical History Form and proof of immunizations in as soon as possible. Failure to complete this requirement may result in cancellation of your classes and official withdrawal from the University. For information about these requirements, or if you are an online/distance learner and need to request to waive this requirement, please call the Student Health Center (252) 328-6841. Health Insurance – Waive Out or You're In!
The University requires that all eligible students have active health insurance coverage. This mandate applies to all undergraduate students who have six or more credit hour courses on Main Campus. ECU offers a high quality 12-month coverage health plan for its students that cover them on and off campus. Students who wish to not pay for the ECU Student Health Insurance Plan must simply prove that they have existing health coverage from a legitimate provider and the charge will be removed from their bill. ECU 1 Card
The ECU 1 card is more than just an official identification card for all of East Carolina University. It offers the safety and convenience of not having to carry cash on campus, and it allows students, staff, faculty and dependents to access campus activities and events.
