East Carolina University offers online distance education degree programs that allow students to access their coursework 24 hours a day, seven days a week, via the internet. At ECU, online courses are taught by the same faculty as our campus classes, and the readings, assignments, and exams mirror on-campus courses. These programs include structured, well-designed courses and special instructional techniques to help you succeed as an online student.
The distance education undergraduate degree programs at ECU are online degree completion programs. Students complete the first two years of college coursers typically at a community college in their area.
The College of Engineering and Technology offers two undergraduate degree completion programs online:
BS in Industrial Technology (BSIT) AAS Transfer Program
BS in Industrial Technology (BSIT) is a degree completion curriculum designed for students who hold a qualifying associate in applied science (AAS) in an industrial or technology-related field. Courses in this program are semester-based but delivered to allow students flexibility with regard to time and place (typically weekly assignments).

The online option of the BS in Industrial Distribution and Logistics does require completion of 30hrs of transferable credits to qualify for this program. Individuals currently working in distribution, logistics, supply chain, or transportation, and those in the military succeed in this type of program.
