Research Interests:
Dr. Castles is interested in the areas of educational modeling and learning. His research work centers around the use of concept maps and concept inventories to graphically model knowledge and the development of topological models and metrics for quantifying knowledge gaps. Dr. Castles is also interested in mechatronics and human factors in design including human-computer interaction, cognitive ergonomics, and human physical capabilities.
