Engineering Sophomore Scholarship

GPA 3.0 or higher
Finished 3 semesters in ENGR
From North Carolina
B- or higher in Calc II

Kauffmann Scholarship

GPA 3.5 or higher
Finished 3 semesters in ENGR
B or higher in Calc II
*Preference given to students
from eastern NC

Engineering Department Scholarship

GPA 3.0 or higher
Finished 1 semester in ENGR
In or completed Calc I
*Preference given to students
from eastern NC
*Preference given to students
who do not have other scholarships

NC's Electric Cooperatives Electrical Engineering Scholarship


The applicant must be a rising junior or senior, a resident of North Carolina, and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Preference is given to students in the Electrical Engineering Concentration. 

2015 FIRST Scholarship

A current high school senior at a high school located in North Carolina
A currently active member of a FIRST Robotics team
Accepted at ECU
Accepted into the Engineering program at ECU

FIRST Robotics Scholarship application

Deadline: February 20, 2015

AES Engineers

Students must submit an essay of between 500 and 1000 words in answer to the following question:

When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful?  What people, things and accomplishments do you need?

ASHRAE Scholarship Program 
Full-time undergraduate engineering student
Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 or a class standing of no less than the top 30%

NASA Aeronautics Scholarship Program 

Scholarships are awarded to individuals within the early stages (freshman to junior year of college study) of their undergraduate study or have a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate college remaining.

All applicants are expected to demonstrate college level preparation by having obtained a high school diploma (minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale) or successful matriculation (minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale) in degree program prior to the fall of 2015.

North Carolina Society of Engineers

Ronald C. Harrell Engineering Scholarship


  1. Rising sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing


Asco Numatics Engineering Scholarship 

Applicants must have completed their sophomore year at the time of application


  • Are currently enrolled in good standing in a four-year ABET accredited engineering program
  • Will be entering the junior year in the fall
