Students for Sustainability (SFS) is a student run organization open to undergraduate and graduate students of all disciplines interested in sustainability. We were founded November 2010 at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC as "Students for Sustainable Tourism." The organization was housed under the Center for Sustainable Tourism. With new administrative alignments, the Center for Sustainable Tourism became part of a large initiative, The Center for Sustainability. Our organizations' name was official changed from "Students for Sustainable Tourism" to Students for Sustainability in 2014 to include a wider range of sustainable actions.
