R.C. Heath Symposium:
Aquifer Management in the Mid-Atlantic States
October 3-4, 2011
This two-day water resources symposium will provide information exchange opportunities for citizens, civic leaders, major water users, water professionals in science, engineering, planning, management and regulation throughout the mid-Atlantic states. The symposium focus will be on water resources issues (especially ground water) that are impacting the coastal Atlantic states from Maryland to Georgia. The invited presentations will provide insight to water related problems in the region and to the latest scientific findings and technology innovations that can provide solutions. It is anticipated that the symposium will assist state and local policy decision makers to optimize current and future water use to achieve economic and environmental sustainability.
