An explanation of Scientific Diving |
| Scientific Diving (COAS 6000 Graduate Students) is listed as a "Complete" style course. This means that the course does not necessarily conform to the semester schedule. | |
| Scientific Diving (COAS 4000/4001/4002 Undergraduate Students) will receive a grade. | |
| This is a moduler training program. Modules generally consist of a classroom, confined water and openwater portion. Successful completion of each section of a module and it's written examination is required to receive credit for the module. | |
| The majority of the classroom material is available online. Students will be given a time limit to complete a given classroom portion of each module. | |
| Scheduled class meetings are Mondays 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Minges pool. Other required meetings will be scheduled on a TBA basis. This year's training schedule. | |
| Open Water training is scheduled for the two weeks immediately following the close of Spring semester exams. | |
