ECU The Career Center houses all part-time job
offerings in our online
Career Connections system. This includes both on-campus and
off-campus positions. New jobs are posted every day. Be sure to
register with us to see what opportunities are available for you.
On-campus jobs: Current students
registered for classes at ECU are eligible to apply for
self-help positions. Most hourly student workers are hired as
Office Assistants and perform duties such as word processing,
answering phones, filing, copying, faxing, and other services.
Computer Lab assistants will require specific computer software
skills and experience. Positions with the Student Recreation
Center may require first aid certification or aerobics instructor
certification.
Off-campus jobs: Our office assists
students in finding employment off-campus. Working a part-time
job allows you to apply knowledge being learned in the classroom
and strengthens your skills for future employment.
Students who work while going to school have an opportunity to
help pay educational costs and gain valuable experience and
skills to enhance their career plans. The networking and
contacts gained during this time will prove helpful when you
need professional references in the near future. Gaining
valuable experience will enable students to become the employees
of choice upon graduation.
