Career Center :: Write a resume

The Career Center provides a way for students to write a resume online:

Check out the following tutorials to guide you through the resume building process. These files have audio components so you must have your speakers turned on.

Using this software you can:
Create high impact resumes with interactive features including writing and formatting help, spell checking and tutorial guidance.
Present your resumes to an employer as a website using a personalized "hyperlink". You will also receive a copy of the same resume in MS Word (which you can upload into our Career Connection database) or an ASCII text version for use in online job applications.
Manage up to 5 resumes online from anywhere 24/7.

After you login, simply read and follow the directions for each section. Examples are provided to help you with wording and formatting.

Optimal Resume is not a substitute for assistance from a counselor and we encourage all students to contact The Career Center for a resume critique before distributing your resume.
