Digestive Diseases
If you suffer from intestinal or stomach problems, ECU Digestive Diseases Center can help. We treat heartburn, irritable bowel, ulcers, swallowing problems and liver conditions. Our physicians have the proven expertise to provide relief.
Digestive problems can affect all aspects of life, interfering with and even preventing normal activities. These debilitating problems include bowel conditions like Crone’s disease and ulcerative colitis, or bleeding and stomach problems such as ulcers. Liver diseases, including viral hepatitis and cirrhosis, also benefit from specialty care.
Our spacious location at
521 Moye Medical Center offers outstanding care for the entire range gastrointestinal concerns.
If you need a procedure such as a colonoscopy, in most cases our physicians can perform them right on site at the
East Carolina Endocscopy Center. We offer
colonoscopies to screen for diseases and colon cancer. Because we use a special anesthesia, your recovery time is reduced from hours to a minutes. To learn more visit the Colorectal Health page.
