"Speak Up"

Phase 1 of Project:ECyou is the campus climate survey. The ultimate goal of the climate survey is to evaluate the social climate and university perception of our faculty, staff and students. There will also be several focus groups to facilitate conversation about the same topics covered on the survey. The goal of having an open survey and focus groups is to make sure that the University's leadership has as much information and feedback as possible.

Leadership wants to hear from you.

"All Hands on Deck"

Phase 2 of Project:ECyou is the results of the survey and the focus groups. The results will be published on this website and outline the identified next steps. All the information gathered in phase 1 will be taken very seriously to develop new initiatives and/or strengthen what is currently in place.

There will also be listening sessions and forums held during Phase 2. We will share what was learned and continue to gather information about possible strategies to target focus areas.

We want to actively change what is not working in our community. If the community is not gathering the information that is required to maintain a safe and inclusive environment of higher education, then we need to make changes.

Leadership wants to implement needed change.

"We're Listening"

Phase 3 of Project:ECyou is the last phase of the collective timeline. This phase will involve more listening sessions to gain a more immediate response to the chosen initiatives and target areas of campus life. ECU leadership will continue to align and address as well as update the campus community on the progress. You can see all updates and information about what to look forward to on this website.

Project:ECyou is a cyclical initiative and Phase 1 will begin the semester immediately following Phase 3. ECU will continue to strive to be an inclusive and safe environment by constantly working toward making our educational environment better.
