The Department of Library Science offers a Master of Library Science (MLS) degree completely online. The MLS program is especially attuned to the needs of non-traditional students seeking to become school media coordinators or public librarians who are prepared to meet the informational and educational needs of their communities, especially for rural and underserved populations in eastern North Carolina.
To apply to the MLS program, follow the instructions specified by the ECU Graduate School.
- January 14, 2013 - Spring semester classes begin
- January 18, 2013 - Last day for registration and schedule changes (drop/add) by 5:00 PM
- January 29, 2013 - Last day to apply for graduation in May
- February 23, 2013 - Book 'Em Conference
- March 10-17, 2013 - Spring Break
- March 18-22, 2013 - Advising for Summer Session and Fall Semester 2013
- March 25, 2013 - Registration for Summer Session and Fall Semester begins
- March 26, 2013 - Last day to apply for graduation for Summer 2-13 session
- March 29-30, 2013 - Holiday
- April 18, 2013 - Graduate students' last day to drop courses without grades by 5:00 PM
- April 30, 2013 - Graduate students' last day to remove Incompletes given during Spring or Summer 2012 sessions
- April 30, 2013 - Last day of classes
- May 10, 2013 - Commencement
