Williams earned an MFA
in Fiction Writing at Bowling Green State University in 1989. She has
published fiction and poetry in Sulphur River Literary Review, The
Chattahoochee Review, Paterson Literary Review, Visions International,
Viet Nam Generation and other magazines. Her novel, The Secret
of Hurricanes, was published in 2002 by MacAdam/Cage of San Francisco, and was a finalist for the Paterson Fiction Prize. She teaches literature and writing at Bowling Green State University and
lives in Bradner, Ohio.

Phillips married Doug Smith in May of 1998; their son, Henry Avery Smith,
was born in February of 1999. She is Field CampHost Coordinator for Virginia
State Parks and director of Youth Ministry at Ebenezer Lutheran Church,
in Marion, VA.

Prescott
is a tenured Associate Professor of English at Kent State University's
Geauga Campus, in Burton, OH, where she teaches composition and literature classes. She has
published about Vietnam War literature in such journals as Studies in
American Culture, Oral History Review, The Vietnam War Journal, Community College Humanities
Association Journal, OYATC, and The Encyclopedia of War Literature; she
is editor of the journal Odin: A Journal of War Throughout the Ages,
and project editor of the Odin Oral History Project. In summer 2001 she visited Quang Tri
Province in Vietnam on a humanitarian mission with the
D.O.V.E. Fund (Development of Vietnam Endeavors).

Giles
lives in Statesboro, GA and was granted tenure as an Assistant
Professor of Learning Support, Writing and Linguistics at Georgia Southern
University. His poems have appeared in The Ogeechee Review, and
are forthcoming in Poetry Motel, Black Buzzard Review and The Sport
Literate. His article "The Search Key as a Grassroots Grammar
Checker" was published in the Journal of Developmental Education.
Giles has been admitted into a doctoral program in Rhetoric, Scientific
and Technical Communication at the University of Minnesota.

Allen is the Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs and Associate Professor of English at North Carolina State University, where she oversees eight programs and offices, including Undergraduate Assessment, Honors, Cooperative Education, Academic Support Programs for Student Athletes, Tutorial Services, the Transition Program, New Student Orientation, and the Virtual Advising Center. She has published books and papers and presented on higher education and communication issues in over 100 scholarly venues, has served on four editorial boards, and is a former member-at-large and current president of the Association of Teachers of Technical Writing. She has consulted extensively on issues regarding technical and administrative communication.

The information development teams at NetIQ provide technical documentation, online Help, wizards, and usability support for more than 15 security-related software products. She also facilitates social justice workshops and creates workshop materials for The Centergy Company. She married Charles Anderson Fleming of Houston in 1999.
