Lisa Proctor has used her training as an educator to teach secondary education, community college, and university courses in literature, grammar, composition, and communication. Along with being a member of the ECU Department of English faculty, she is a managing editor for the Microsoft Partner Portal, an informational and marketing website for Microsoft resellers. There, she works with a team of content managers, editors, and graphic designers to deliver high-quality copy that meets stringent editorial and branding guidelines, while remaining on message for its target audience. The expectations are sky high, the time frames are ridiculous, and she adores every minute of it. The rest of Lisa's time is spent carousing with her beloved dogs, working on her new house, and reading.
