McKay Sundwall was educated at Michigan State (B.A. 1962) and Harvard (M.A. 1965, Ph.D. 1972).  Since 1960, when he saw Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, and King John at Stratford, Ontario, Canada, his prime interest has been Shakespeare.  Sundwall has published studies of Chaucer and other Middle English versions of the story of Troy, and he teaches renaissance literature (Shakespeare in particular), medieval literature (Chaucer in particular), and children's literature.
