C.W. Sullivan III taught a seminar, "Young Adult Science Fiction," in the Graduate Program in Children's Literature at Hollins University, Roanoke, Virginia, this summer. Sullivan is one of several Visiting Professors who teach in the Hollins program every second or third summer. The 10th anniversary of the North Carolina Literary Review was published in July. It features original fiction by Fred Chappell, a republication of a Paul Green story, an interview with NCLR's founding editor Alex Albright, and returns to the special feature topics of the ten previous issues. Copies are available for purchase in the Editor's office (Bate 2134). NCLR Editor Margaret Bauer visited Malaprop's Bookstore in Asheville on August 17, where she answered questions about NCLR's 10th anniversary issue and submitting material to NCLR for publication consideration. Now available: The half hour videotape of the play, An American Cafe, written by Judy Lucas, Carl Campbell, Todd Lovett, and Gay Wilentz. Please contact Wilentz for more information.
