Effective February 14, 2010 all students are required to submit a self-certification form to their lender, if they are borrowing a private loan, prior to the school receiving a request to certify the loan. This is a NEW federal requirement under Regulation Z-§226.48 (f). For additional information visit http://www.fdic.gov/regulations/laws/rules/6500-1800.html#fdic6500226.48.
 

East Carolina University Scholarship Information

East Carolina University offers a number of competitive merit scholarships to incoming freshman with very strong high school records. To apply for an academic merit scholarship, please complete an application for admission to East Carolina University along with the Scholarship Application form. This scholarship is only available for Freshman starting in the Fall semester and students must have a minimum of a 3.5 unweighted GPA and a minimum of an 1800 on the SAT to apply.  Freshman must return the application on or before December 1. If you have any questions, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 252-328-6640.

 

Scholarships are available for transfer students entering in the summer or fall. Consideration for these awards is given to those transfer applicants who have completed a minimum of 30 semester hours of transferable credit with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 at the time of application. Priority is given to North Carolina community college students.

The selection for transfer scholarships will be based upon the academic credentials received with the application for admission and a completed scholarship application. The deadline is June 1.
