How can I apply for scholarships?

East Carolina University offers a number of competitive merit scholarships to incoming freshman with very strong high school records. To apply for an academic merit scholarship, please complete an application for admission to East Carolina University and the Preliminary Scholarship Application form available on the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Freshman must return the application on or before January 1. If you have any questions, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 252-328-6528.

 

Scholarships are available for transfer students entering in the summer or fall. Consideration for these awards is given to those transfer applicants who have completed a minimum of 30 semester hours of transferable credit with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 at the time of application. Priority is given to North Carolina community college students.

Selection for these scholarships will be based upon the academic credentials received with the application for admission and a completed Preliminary Scholarship Application. The deadline is June 15.
