The Office of Student Loans

PURPOSE

The Student Loan Accounting Office is responsible for collection of the following student loans:

• Federal Perkins Loans
• Nursing Student Loans
• Health Professions Student Loans (Medical Students)
• Loans for Disadvantaged Students (Medical Students)
• Primary Care Loans (Medical Students)
• Sarah E. Clement Emergency Loans

The Student Loan Office does not determine eligibility for these loans.  The application and award process is handled by the Financial Aid Office.  If you have questions about eligibility requirements or about the status of your Financial Aid application, please use this e-mail link to contact the Financial Aid Office: faques@ecu.edu

EXIT INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS

If you are a recipient of a Perkins Loan, you are required to complete an Exit Interview if you are:

* Graduating
* Dropping below half-time
* Otherwise not returning to ECU the next semester.
