Thank you for your interest in our pediatric training program. Our three-year residency emphasizes a combination of primary-continuity care and exposure to patients whose medical conditions require management in a tertiary care setting. This approach provides the resident with the knowledge and experience to diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric diseases and problems.

Our program offers a highly qualified and dedicated faculty and modern, well-equipped clinical facilities at the Children's Hospital of University Health Systems of Eastern North Carolina and the Brody School of Medicine Pediatric Outpatient Center. Both of these facilities are located on the same campus. The Children's Hospital is the only tertiary care facility in eastern North Carolina designed especially for pediatric patients.

We provide a challenging and comprehensive professional experience, in a collegial atmospere, that makes this a location to seriously consider for postgraduate training. We hope you will find the information on our web site helpful and we welcome your inquiries regarding our program.
