B.R. Veerendra Babu, MD Dr. Babu joins the Generalist Fellowship after completing his residency at St. Louis University Health Sciences Center in Missouri. In 1993, he received his MD from Bangalore Medical College in India, where he was a National Merit Scholar and a recipient of the Distinction in Medicine Award. Dr. Babu begins his first fellowship rotation in Cardiology. Peter Duros, MD Dr. Duros comes to us from the Double Springs Clinic in Jaspar, Alabama where he worked in private practice. Dr. Duros fulfilled his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 1995 where he also received his MS in Physiology as a Fulbright Scholar. He received his MD from the School of Medicine at Univ. Komensky in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. Dr. Duros begins his first rotation in Locum Tenens at Wilson Community Health Center.

Joseph Saleeb, MD Dr. Saleeb enters our fellowship from a practice at Rush Memorial Hospital, Rushville, Indiana. In 1995, he fulfilled his Internal Medicine Residency at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center where he had completed an externship in 1992. Dr. Saleeb served as a general practitioner in Alexandria Egypt after finishing an internship at Alexandria University Hospital. He received his MBBCh from Alexandria University Medical School. Dr. Saleeb's first rotation is in Pulmonary and Critical Care. Syed Ismail Thiwan Syed, MD Dr. Syed joins our staff after fulfilling his residency with the University of Medicine and Dentistry, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Jersey and with St. Luke's, Roosevelt Hospital Center at Columbia University in New York. He served as resident physician in the Government General Hospital in Madras, India. Dr. Syed received his MD from Madras Medical College and his MBBS from Tirunveli. He begins his first rotation in Gastroenterology.
