Student Temporary Assist Team Information for Faculty and Staff

Do you have a project that requires an extra set of hands? Do you have extra copies to make? Envelopes to stuff? Hire a Temporary Student Worker! Hiring a Temporary Student Worker can help your department greatly by assisting with duties that may prevent you from accomplishing all of your regular daily tasks. You can hire students to complete temporary assignments for you up to 4 weeks in length!
All STAT employees are paid with Federal Work Study funds at no cost to departments. Submit a STAT Request form through our website that will let us know your needs and assignment specifications. Once your request is received we will advertise your assignment to our pool of STAT employees. Once a student has assigned themselves to your assignment we will contact you with the name of the student and the time they will be arriving to work for you.
One weeks’ notice is preferred however we will try to fill every request but may be limited based on student availability. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to fill every request.
STAT employees can be requested for up to 4 weeks. By submitting this request you agree to verify that the student will not work more than 20 hours a week. If the student exceeds 20 hours, the department that the student is requested for will be responsible for paying the overage.
