Clinical Application Development

Clinical Application Development:

The Clinical Applications Development section designs, develops, tests and installs system clinical content and makes recommendations for work process improvements using the electronic medical record system. This clinical content includes documentation components (or form components), flowsheets (data sets), handouts, letters, and other templates that complies with policies and procedures, meets medical and medical legal standards, improves workflow efficiencies and provides data for health care and disease management reporting and decision making. Clinical design and content also includes the customization of system lists, such as Problems and Medications, as well as patient care documentation using policy guidelines, patient care standards, data standards and conventions. Clinical Application Development questions and requests may be forwarded to Jay Davis.
