The Compass

A journal of new directions for History Education

This editor reviewed journal serves as a showcase for the research of top History Education graduate students and as a professional resource for social studies teachers. 

Articles in The Compass present two types of research relevant to the history educator.  That research is presented in two separate sections of the journal.

Uncharted Waters” - features the creative and fresh historical research and writing of students in their content work in history.

Overhaul” - features the innovative teaching methods that graduate students are researching through action research in History Education in an effort to improve their teaching (to be added in 2012/2013).
