HIIPhoto The BS in Health Services Management is designed to provide health care practitioners and others with the skills and competencies to function as supervisors and managers in health care settings. Graduates will be prepared for mid-level management positions or for entrance into master's programs in allied health. 

Interested in a Master's Program in the College of Allied Health Sciences? The B.S. in Health Services Management can be a "stepping stone" to many of our graduate allied health programs. Courses of study have been created to meet the pre-requisite requirements for graduate allied health programs and Health Services Management.

HIIPhoto2 The graduate degree in health informatics and information management (MS HIIM) is a transdisciplinary academic program at the intersection of the disciplines of computer and information science and technology, health services administration and management, and more importantly the dynamics between the two. It is designed to prepare individuals to be informaticians as well as information management professionals who can work proficiently with clinicians and health services administrators in order to develop clear and effective health information strategies for health care organizations.

Kulesher Dr. Kulsher Interviewed on WCTI

Dr. Robert Kulesher from the Department of Health Services and Information Management was interviewed by WCTI to comment on the recent partnership announcement between Lenoir Memorial Hospitals in Kinston and Novant Health System headquartered in Winston-Salem. Kulesher On Call Dr. Kulesher Participates in "Doctors on Call" segment for WITN 

Dr. Robert Kulesher from the Department of Health Services and Information Management served on a panel of health professionals for WITN's "Doctors of Call" segment Sept. 10. Dr. Kulesher answered calls regarding health insurance choices and provided resources for those trying to understand and select the right insurance for their needs.
