Outlook Live Student E-mail Evaluation
We've had an overwhelming response from students since announcing the evaluation, and unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to include any additional participants.
Bigger mailbox, built-in chat, and more!
Several of us are trying out e-mail offered by Microsoft Outlook Live (also known as Windows Live), and we need about 500 students to join us. During this evaluation period, we can use new e-mail accounts with features like:
- 10GB of mailbox space
- special e-mail address that ends in "@students.ecu.edu"
- built-in chat
- 25GB of space in "Skydrive" folders to store personal files and/or share with others (Skydrive is similar to Piratedrive)
- ECU branding to show your Pirate loyalty (arrrgh!)
By the way, Microsoft is continuing to improve Outlook Live (OL) as they receive feedback from users, so you may see some features change over time.
NOTE: At this time, the pilot project is only open to enrolled students who are NOT also classified as faculty, staff, or graduate teaching assistants.
