Not all, but many ECU programs require students have a computer that meets certain minimum specifications. This ensures that students are able to run software specific to their classwork (AutoCAD, for example).
All incoming students should review these requirements and recommendations before making a decision on purchasing a computer. Although not required, students can take advantage of the The ECU Student Store's computer program, which has specifically selected products that meet departmental requirements.
