Healthspan User Authentication Issues

When: Thursday, August 18, 4:00pm

UHS has informed us that Healthspan is currently experiencing an issue that prevents users from authenticating (logging in) into the system. They are working on it, but do not have an estimated time of when the issue will be resolved.

We will notify campus when UHS has resolved the problem.

Student E-mail Update

Earlier today Microsoft experienced a major service outage to many of the e-mail systems it provides, including the Outlook Live service that hosts ECU's student e-mail.

ECU's student e-mail service has been restored. However, at this point, Microsoft has not confirmed that all issues are resolved, so the possibility of additional interruptions remains.

The SafeAssign feature in Blackboard will be unavailable on Saturday, August 13th, while the vendor upgrades the system.

Virtual Computing Lab (VCL) will be unavailable from 2:00pm-4:00pm today while we perform an upgrade.

Downtime: PiratePanel and Personal web space

When: Sunday August 7, 10:00am through Tuesday August 9, 10:00am

PiratePanel and Personal Webspace will be viewable but content will not be editable from Sunday morning till Tuesday morning as we upgrade the servers. On Tuesday morning there will be a brief window when the content will be unavailable for viewing as we finalize the upgrade.

There will be intermittent downtime from 7:00 am - 11:00 am for the following systems: Piratedrive, Blackboard, medical images through Centricity, Xtender scanned images, and the following NAS departmental servers: coeitc, csdi-r, geography, hsl-gladiator, hsl-mts, jscanning, nurse, radoncp, sandtiger, save, sct, studentrec, surgery, tal, tecserver, ump, and vcl.

This maintenance is during our normal maintenance window.

Downtime - Healthspan

When: August 10, 2011 / 1:00am-4:00am

HealthSpan will be unavailable to all customers for approximately 3 hours on August 10th from 01:00 am until 04:00 am for application updates and system maintenance.

Note that the "Read only" version of HealthSpan (also know as the "view Only" version) will be available during the downtime. Also, the Intranet Alert Box will be used to keep users informed on the downtime status.
