Wireless Access at ECU

ECU has two wireless networks for users: the general-purpose Pirates and the secured Buccaneer.

  • A computer or mobile device should automatically detect the Pirates network and will log in using a PirateID/passphrase through the Connect2ECU page once they open a browser window.

  • The secure wireless network, Buccaneer, is available for faculty and staff who log in to the Intra domain using a university-owned laptop.

  •  Macintosh computers will automatically connect to the Buccaneer network.
