From 1997-2003 the Australian National Abandoned Vessel Database was compiled by Nathan Richards for use in his 1997 thesis and 2002 PhD Dissertation. The links below are to PDF documents of reports arranged according to Australian state of this resource. The volumes are designed to be downloaded and printed as a resource for researchers. The database itself remains with the author (who can be contacted at richardsn@ecu.edu) who retains the right to use the analytic potential of the database as a part of ongoing research.
