The ECU Summer Guitar Workshop is open to students of all skill levels who wish to acquire or improve skills on the classical guitar. The artist-faculty, which consists of world-class concert artists and teachers, draws talented students from across the United States and abroad as well as from North Carolina. Area concertgoers can also hear these gifted musicians perform in recital during the workshop. After a one-year absence the stunning Italian guitarists, Soloduo, Matteo Mela and Lorenzo Micheli, return along with the amazing American virtuoso Jason Vieaux. Also returning are Stephen Aron and Duo Spiritoso, Andrew Zohn and Jeffrey McFadden. Former ECU Solo Competition winners, Mitch Weverka and Isaac Bustos, will also be appearing in duo recital as and last years solo competition winner Chad Ibison will be performing as well. Last year’s teacher training workshop will be repeated.
