Junior Keyboard Camp

Junior Keyboard Camp (for ages 7 through 12)

This camp is for keyboard students of all levels, ages 7 through 12, who have had a minimum of 6 months of piano lessons and attained at least a rudimentary knowledge of music reading.  This division is a morning camp operating daily from 8:30 AM to Noon. Students in Junior Keyboard Camp must commute to campus each day, beginning Monday morning, June 9. Small ensemble groupings will be formed, based on student age and level of keyboard experience.  Classes will include keyboard ensemble, sight-reading, jazz piano, keyboard history, music theory, and music technology. The Junior Division of the camp will include a mid-morning break for a snack and non-music socializing.
