Our mission is to increase the interest, awareness, and opportunities brought by ECU faculty to develop astrobiology, space science, planetary sciences, and exploration opportunities for university students and thereby reach K-12 teachers, students, and the public.

Congratulations: Dr. Sharon Schleigh recently received funding to support science teacher education an innovative program, "Research Engaged Strategies in Teacher Education Programs to improve STEM (RESTEP to STEM)". Twelve students were awarded $1500 for STEM education research.

We invite you to learn about the student projects at the ECU Space Grant Symposium April 25th at 2:30pm in Flanagan 312. Read about their projects here. There will be free snacks and beverages and you see the posters and chat with the students starting at 2:30 and 3:15 pm.
