HOP, SKIP AND JUMP: East Carolina University student and world-class jumper Chelsea Guild led a jump rope clinic for children aged 5 to 12 Dec. 4 at the Student Recreation Center. Students learned basic jumps, single and double rope tricks and other jump rope games. Guild is senior captain of the Bouncing Bulldogs Jump Rope team, which holds six national championships. She is a two-time member of the USA Jump Rope Team, a gold and silver medalist at a number of global competitions, and a teacher/performer on five different continents. Guild performed as a street performer at the Beijing Olympics.
