Participation encouraged at May 22 community forum with health care leaders

Six Greenville health care leaders will discuss significant issues of the community and answer questions during a public forum Tuesday, May 22.
Free and open to the public, the forum will be at 7 p.m. in the Edwin W. Monroe AHEC Conference Center, 2000 Venture Tower Drive. The event is part of the "Changing the Face of Medicine: Celebrating America's Women Physicians" exhibit on display at East Carolina University's Laupus Library through May 28.
The public is invited to submit questions to the panel before the forum. Please submit questions as soon as possible to Kelly Rogers at email@example.com. Schools and colleges are encouraged to participate.
The panel will feature Deborah Davis, vice president of business development and innovation for University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina; Dr. Virginia Hardy, senior associate dean for academic affairs, and Dr. Valerie Gilchrist, professor and chair of family medicine, both in the Brody School of Medicine; Dr. Phyllis Horns, interim dean of the School of Medicine and interim vice chancellor of the Division of Health Sciences; Dr. Cynda Johnson, senior associate vice chancellor for clinical and translational research in the Division of Research and Graduate Studies; and Dr. Beth Velde, associate professor and admissions director for occupational therapy and assistant dean for special projects in the School of Allied Health Sciences.
