Dental school to cut ribbon Friday on Ross Hall

GREENVILLE, N.C.   (Oct. 10, 2012)   —   Local and state leaders will cut the ribbon Friday at the new home of the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, Ledyard E. Ross Hall.

Events for the public begin at 2 p.m. and will include tours of the building.

Speakers and attendees will include Tom Ross, president of the University of North Carolina system; ECU Chancellor Steve Ballard; and Dr. Gregory Chadwick, dean of the ECU School of Dental Medicine.

Ross Hall is at 1851 MacGregor Downs Road in Greenville beside the ECU Health Sciences Building. Parking will be available in the lot between MacGregor Downs Road and West Fifth Street.

The 188,000-square-foot Ross Hall houses classrooms, patient-care areas, offices and more for the ECU School of Dental Medicine. It boasts the latest in dental care and educational technology.
