AUTUMN ARRIVES
ECU welcomes fall with seasonal activities

Shorts and T-shirts gave way to sweatshirts and denim this week as cool fall temperatures settled in on campus. Among the activities that welcomed the season were an annual pumpkin carving contest sponsored by ECU Dining Services and a chili bowl sale held by the ECU Ceramics Guild. 

At the pumpkin carving contest, students competed for best design, with the winner receiving a Kindle supplied by General Mills.

More than 300 handmade bowls were on display for shoppers to choose from at the chili bowl sale. While it lasted, homemade chili was available to fill the bowls.
