As the fall semester draws to a close, many members of the East Carolina University community enjoy traditional celebrations across campus. Among those traditions are the Chancellor's Open House, held this year on Dec. 5. Visitors to the Chancellor's residence enjoyed exchanging greetings with the chancellor and his wife -- Steve and Nancy Ballard -- while others queued up to sample food from the table. Holiday decorations brightened every room.

At the annual School of Art and Design Holiday Sale and Exhibition, held Nov. 29 through Dec. 1 in Gray Gallery, shoppers found opportunities to select unique, handmade holiday gifts from a display of ceramics, jewelry, photographs, sculpture, limited edition prints, paintings and other artwork.
